June 14th - Joe Shuster Comic Book Awards

The Canadian comic book awards will be given out at this ceremony at the Lillian H. Smith Library. Many Canadian artists and writers will be there, including J. Torres, and Cecil Castelucci. Governor General Award-winning teacher Dave Watkins will be there, participating in panels on using comics in the classroom.

July 12th-13th - Paradise Toronto Comicon

This two day convention takes place at the Holiday Inn on King Street. Not only does it include an amazing lineup of guests that you can see here, but it also includes Comics for Kids, a pavilion just for kids where they can create their own superheroes and hang out with comic pros. Plus, there's free stuff!
